The primary 1s are learning about sounds around them. We started by singing 'The Wheels on the Bus' which was in their textbooks. Next, we discussed sounds that we might hear on the bus. I got students to come up to demonstrate these sounds. After that, students had their first creative group work. Groups were given pictures of different scenarios and they had to work together to try and imitate the different sounds from the scenarios. Every group had a chance to perform their work. Considering this was their first attempt at group work, I'm quite happy with what they've come up with.
